Congratulations to MCESA Autism Spectrum Teacher, Dawn Totten, who was recently announced as a 2021-22 recipient of a MAASE mini grant. Totten submitted a mini grant for an employment work skills cart that will allow ASD programs to work on pre-employment and specific subtask job skills within high school classrooms. Totten teaches at Dow High School.

Saginaw Valley State University is conducting a Midland County Health Survey now through mid-February. The purpose of the survey is to understand the health and health-related needs of people living in Midland County. Information from the survey will be used to develop programs to address the needs of its residents. If you are 18 years of age or older, and live in Midland County, you are eligible to participate. The Midland County Health Department will host a clinic for the flu shot and COVID-19 vaccine at the MCESA Sugnet Building, 3917 Jefferson Avenue on Thursday, Oct. 28. This clinic is for all ESA employees and will take place from 2 p.m. to 4 p.m. Full details are in the flyer below.
