We’re making an urgent, time-sensitive call for volunteers for our upcoming Ready, Set, Interview event at Davenport University, 3555 E. Patrick Road in Midland.
At this time, we are critically short on volunteers and need at least 40 additional interviewers to fully staff sessions on March 2 and March 4. Without additional support from our industry partners, we may not be able to provide every student with the mock interview experience they’ve been preparing for.
Ready, Set, Interview gives students real-world interview practice and professional feedback as they build essential career readiness skills. Students work closely with ESA and guidance counseling staff to develop essential skills in portfolio preparation, professional dress, interview etiquette, and effective communication. This event is a key part of their career readiness journey.
As a volunteer interviewer, you’ll conduct mock interviews, provide constructive feedback, and help students build confidence for their future careers. Students will also participate in portfolio reviews and employability skill sessions , and your insight makes a meaningful impact.
Employers can volunteer for a morning shift, afternoon shift, or full day. Every bit of time helps us fill critical gaps and keep this important event moving forward.
If you or someone from your organization can help, please register as soon as possible so we can finalize schedules:
