Public Schools Week Proclamation - Penny Miller-Nelson, John Searles, Jennifer McCormack

Today, Feb. 17, the Midland County Board of Commissioners approved a proclamation recognizing February 23–27, 2026 as Public Schools Week.

This countywide proclamation, submitted on behalf of all public school districts in Midland County, highlights the key role public education plays in our communities. It celebrates the dedicated individuals who work in public education and recognizes their achievements while also strengthening public understanding of the importance of public schools and preparing students for the future.
