BUILD UP EDUCATIONAL SUPPORT
Build Up helps parents and their children, ages 3 through 5, get additional educational support as they begin and continue to learn the skills needed to enter kindergarten.
Midland County ESA Early Childhood Special Education (ECSE) classrooms are comprised of students between the ages of 3-6 years old with a variety of disabilities. Students are enrolled in the program based upon a team recommendation at an Individualized Education Planning (IEP) meeting. We provide a continuum of offerings, ranging from a preschool classroom specifically for children with more intense communication, social or behavioral delays, traditional ECSE classrooms, and inclusion programs with Head Start and Great Start Readiness Preschool students. In addition to the child’s individual goals on their Individualized Education Plan (IEP), teachers use Teaching Strategies Gold, which was adopted as a county-wide preschool curriculum. Transportation is available.
